Wonderland Installation – Calgary, Alberta

The sculpture is a 12-metre-tall bent-wire portrait of a young girl’s head (the artists daughter), and is the key feature of the main plaza area at the foot of THE BOW. The work is now being called a symbol for ‘new Calgary’.

“My vision for Wonderland is to inspire everyone who experiences the sculpture: I believe the architecture of our bodies is the palace for our dreams.”

– Jaume Plensa
