A mid-century ferryboat has been repurposed into an getaway spa Bota Bota.  Sitting quietly on the St. Lawrence river, neighbouring another famed and stunning architectural celebrity, Habit 67.

The maritime aesthetic has been rubbed away, replaced with a useful angular and modern look, and the whole structure has been opened up to provide specific, scenic views of Montreal’s industrial district. The interior spaces are serene, with tucked away private relaxation rooms for juxtaposed with the public communal areas.
