BMX Supercross Track

Built for the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games, this BMX Supercross Track isn’t just the only one in Canada to be UCI certified — it’s also built to last for decades. Due to the proposed site’s role as a catchment area for the rest of the park, Kleinfeldt Mychajlowycz Architects had to both manage the water flows so as to let the track dry in 30 minutes or less, and keep up the water quality because of a nearby wetland. The result is an exciting 517 meter dirt track joined by a concrete and steel structure that offers two start ramps, indoor and outdoor storage, and an imposing presence to those getting ready to ride.
