Translink: Canada Line posters

The Canada Line is the latest addition to Translink, Vancouver’s public transit system, launched just prior to the 2010 Olympics. Construction took several years, was highly controversial and significantly disrupted businesses located along the line. This campaign aims to assist in the rebuilding and revitalization of the business communities that were effected. The posters convey their message simply and with a twist of anthropomorphic wit. Surprisingly, I’ve found Vancouver to be a fairly car-dependent city, so hopefully the awareness spread by this campaign will help get businesses back on track and more drivers onto transit.
