Sunfish Sailboat


Designed in 1951 by Alexander Bryan and Cortland Heyniger, the Sunfish was and still is popular in the amateur sailing community. Its small size and therefore small weight are highly sought after as well as its low cost. The sunfish is also used as a day racer for amateur sailing races however its main claim to fame was its cost, even currently used, original models in good condition can be found for around $500-700, new they will run in the $2000-$3000 range.
