A classic piece of Canadiana pottery from 1972, the Skimo series of objects were created by renowned Quebec ceramist Jean Cartier. Available in three colour styles and a handful of forms (ashtray to vase) the strongest pieces were the vases. The large pieces (50.8 cm tall) are decorated with a tryptic of themed stories, with each side of the vase presenting a section of life in Canada’s north.
