Gravity Bowls

Jennifer Graham - Gravity Bowls.jpg

A great piece from the potent Vest Collective, a newcomer into the Canadian design community. The bowls are made by placing a flat piece of clay into a fabric mold which is then hung like a planter. The gravity pulls the weave of the fabric into the clay creating a tactile feel and the resulting form is completely unique. A mass manufacturable technique that ensures that every piece will be truly individual.
