Beauceware #421 Fish Planters


These are some of the more aesthetically challenged forms that were created by this influential ceramics studio. Definitely reflecting the styles and tastes of their era, these fish shaped planters are unlikely to have a resurgence anytime soon. They are extremely close to the edge of good taste.

It is fascinating to gaze through the objects of the past and marvel at how bizarre our grandparents homes must have been.
