Worldclock 2001

Worldclock 2001 from This Is It displays the time of over 80 different cities from around the world. Designers Robert Studer and David Cuesta managed to make it all work by completely rethinking the way a clock functions. The outer rim lists every minute of the day, while the rotating clock face displays a top-down flattened globe. Each of the 81 cities has a corresponding ‘hand’ that reaches out to the edge of the clock – simply locate your city and follow the line to find out what time it is in Tokyo, Copenhagen, St. John’s or Toronto.
