Phonofone II iPod Player

Science&Sons.jpg

Toronto-based Science + Sons’ Phonofone II is an ingenious little device that uses passive amplification to turn your personal music player’s earphones into full fledged speakers (or at least, laptop-sounding fledged speakers). In addition, by combining horn acoustics with the audio conductive properties of rigid ceramics, Phonofone II requires no external power source or batteries.

According to the designer, Phonofone II has been licensed by a ‘foreign design concern’ and is slated for commercial release in Spring 2008.
