Ribbecke 40th Anniversary Archtop Guitar

The one-off 40th Anniversary guitar is the pinnacle of one of the world’s best luthiers. The design goal was for the “Woods to be the Star” and they are extraordinary. The top is spruce with birds eye maple used for the back and sides, the headstock, tailpiece, and pick guard are of quilted mahogany, and it has a rare ebony fingerboard. The inlaid mother of pearl, silver and abalam, tell the guitar’s concept…time and history. This is an exceptional instrument, built to showcase a phenominal builder, at the top of the game and the market (this guitar retails for $50,000)
