Canada Style Shopping Cart

This is such an interesting product, but I am not sure if we (as Canadians) should be happy or sad that a globally supplied shopping cart model has been named after us. Most contemporary products are mirrors, reflecting the consumers who they are designed for. This makes complete sense given the multiple ways the consumers are tapped and studied by brands, a process that insures products are desirable to shoppers, and reduces the risk of taking products to market. I am curious what this design says about us?
