I have recently acquired two of these Frugte pieces, both with native natives designs of fish on them. I am trying to value these, and if you could point me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative. thank you.
It’s hard to say exactly, but perhaps around $35 each now.
You will, of course, see them for much less, and perhaps a bit more.
The Frugtes were Dutch immigrants and, in the 60’s and 70’s, taught enamelling in Edmonton and exhibited/sold their work throughout Canada…mainly in the West, (Vancouver, Victoria, Banff, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg), but also at Morgan’s, Montreal.
