The Queen’s Baton


“The Queen’s Baton” was designed for use in the Commonwealth Games held in Victoria, British Columbia in 1994. The baton, formally references a traditional “spirit catcher” and was designed to capture the spirit of the games, is decorated with aboriginal patterns and messages. The cast pewter baton traveled throughout Canada to promote the Games.
