PC Condiment Packaging

For the longest time I could not figure out what the PC logo stood for (turns out it’s Portion Control), but I’ve always liked the graphics on these little condiment packages (the packaging itself is a whole other discussion). This design exhibits a bold minimalism, not unlike Don Watt’s famous ‘No Name’ packaging. However, unlike No Name, I suspect that these have been reworked by various designers who didn’t quite appreciate their simplicity; check out the inconsistency between the three examples. Nonetheless, it is nice to find a little beauty in something so commonplace.
