The Pink Nail Project

Over the last six months many Torontonian’s have spotted pink pylons popping up at construction sites all over the city. These pylons are
part of a guerilla marketing campaign for Justyna Werbel’s Pink Nail Project. The Pink Nail Project is devoted to encouraging and supporting women in the skilled trades through information, advocacy and bursaries, and is partnered with the Canadian Association of Women In Construction (CAWIC).

Ordinary pylons are ‘acquired’, painted with the Pink Nail Project’s signature Pink Nail Pink, and then left in, on, and around construction sites. Many sites, such as the construction site at the Art Gallery of Ontario (pictured above) have taken a liking to the pylons and started using them throughout their day to day operations.
