Winter Coat

This insanely wonderful forest green felted wool Anorak parka is NOT a manufactured Hudsons Bay Company coat, it is the REAL THING and the inspiration for those iconic coats. This garment was hand made by the Inuit peoples in the 1950s. The cuffs and pom-poms are fox as is the enormous trim on the huge pointed hood. The characters on the coat are not felt apliques but hand embroidered scenes of igloos and dog sledding fun.
