Red Socks & Pink Bikini Installations

This wonderful urban project is such a friendly narrative! Vander Kooij makes knitted, outfits for the human sculptures dotting the city, like warm socks for the “Memorial to Workers Killed or Injured on the Job” by Paul Cvetich, and a crocheted bikini to cover up a bronze sculpture “Dream” by Leo Mol. These are a fantastic additions to our civic experience, and gives viewers a wonderfully fresh take on our public art.
