Alice Glass x Alexander Wang

Just last week, Alexander Wang offered fans a sneak peak of his upcoming SS16 campaign, previewing a series of polaroids of the muses who would be starring in it. One such muse was Alice Glass, the musician best known as one half of synth duo Crystal Castles.

In New York, Glass took to the runway as a model in Wang’s AW16 show, for a collection that mixed the see-through tees and anti-authoritarian attitude of the #freethenipple movement with weed leaf and pole dancer motifs. Models donned beanies, hoodies and fuzzy tops all emblazoned with words like ‘strict’ and ‘tender’, strutting down the runway in punkish tights and studded shoes. As for Glass, she wore a black mohair sweater, with hair complete with her trademark short fringe.
