I am looking for Strawberry Hill pieces for my collection. We used to visit the shop regularly when I was a kid (I used to live nearby, and my brownies group even got to make our own birds there once), but being little the only piece I ever managed to afford for my own was a baby rabbit that was a second. I am hoping to find pieces now that are reasonably priced. Any, but would be thrilled to get some of the bigger ones like the bull moose. Open to considering seconds or damaged pieces since they’re just for my personal collection. yaks.run.free at gmaildotcom

Wow. I lived across the highway from Strawberry Hill in 1970-1971. Had many fun times with the family and for the life of me I cannot remember their names. There also was a neighboring family named the Neimi’s (not sure of the spelling).
I still have their owl, a few coffee cups and a small brown owl.
Is their name Polowsky’s????
Yes, their names were Peter & Liz Polowski.

I have a large, somewhat strange looking SHP bird or owl. I have not been able to find another like it on the web. It is lying on its side and is a large teardrop shape 6″ long, 4.5″ high and 4″ deep with a flat section on top. Rather fierce looking, not what you would call cute, with bulging eyes and small beak located within in a circular depression at the front of the piece. If anyone is interested in buying or even just identifying, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
looking to purchase hanging flying owl….unfortunately a small person accidentally broke off its wing
I grew up in Thunder Bay and collected some wonderful Strawberry Hill pieces. We lost all of them in a housefire and it is a long painstaking process to find my beloved Dancing Owl. If anyone knows of one I would be happy. Many happy memories of the studio in the 70’s….who knew they would be so collectible…..very charming works in my opinion
